This idea was inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien from Lord of the Rings. Sam realized Gandalf wasn’t dead and said, “Is everything sad going to become untrue?” Tim Keller expounded on this. And much like the resurrection of Jesus, that was a promise and new covenant that everything sad will ultimately become untrue due to the forgiveness and promise of salvation.
