Idols is a four-week sermon series that helps us identify and overcome the idols that subtly take God’s place in our hearts, leading us to a renewed focus on Him.

The included sermon outline covers the following: In Week 1, we’ll examine Identifying Our Idols, recognizing the hidden things—like success, relationships, or comfort—that we unknowingly elevate above God. Week 2 focuses on The Idol of Self, revealing how pride and self-reliance can pull us away from surrendering fully to God. By Week 3, we’ll explore The Idol of Relationships, learning how even good things—like family and friendships—can become unhealthy when they replace God as our ultimate source of security and purpose. Finally, Week 4 challenges us with The Idol of Materialism, confronting the false promises of wealth and possessions and discovering how true contentment is only found in Christ.
